Third suspect arrested in Homosassa meth lab case
A third suspect was captured Friday night in connection with the case of a Homosassa meth lab.
The Drug Enforcement Agency and Citrus County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at about 8:30 a.m. on Friday and took two other people into custody.
2 charged in connection with Homosassa meth lab operation
Two people were arrested today, and a third is being sought, in connection with the operation of what is believed to be a meth lab at a Homosassa home.
DEA, CCSO investigate Homosassa meth lab
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office involved DEA agents this morning around 8:30 to serve a search warrant at 8538 W. Kimberly Court in Homosassa.
The warrant referenced a suspected meth lab on the premises.
The DEA is currently cleaning up the lab remnants. The cleanup is expected to be both time- and labor-intensive.
The CCSO investigation is in its earliest stages.
County officials urge a ‘total count’ for Census 2010
Citrus Countians have are receiving their 2010 Census forms in the mail this week, and Board of County Commission officials are urging them to make sure everyone gets counted.
They say residents have good reason to want every last person counted.
