The College of Central Florida has been awarded a $1.6 million grant by the U.S. Department of Education to provide academic and support services to low-income, first-generation and disabled students through its Student Support Services.
The program has been grant-funded at CF since 1990.
LECANTO - Central Florida Community College student Korie-Lanette Cole has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Coca-Cola Foundation.
Cole was one of 400 students nationwide selected through the Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program.

The CFCC District Board of Trustees approved the name College of Central Florida at their Tuesday meeting.
