This event kicks off the county's Independence Day celebration with a full day of family activities and contests along the river ending in with an evening of spectacular fireworks.

There will also be a Poker Run. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and end at noon at the Riverside Resort. The event begins at Riverside and ends at The Shed. The last card played will be at 6 p.m., and the awards ceremony will be at 8. For more information about the Poker Run, call Ricky at 352-302-5779.
