History

CitrusDaily, known as CitrusDaily.com, is the brainchild of Bryan Latham and Robby Douglas, both residents of Citrus County, who decided it was apparent there needed to be better online content and features provided to the Citrus County community.

Bryan W. Latham is a pioneer in the web field making his first web page back in the mid-90's while attending college to eventually graduate as a computer programmer. Throughout the years, Bryan worked for several companies, in positions ranging from an IT assistant, Web Administrator, and as a Videographer/Editor for a TV station. Bryan's favorite pasttime is watching baseball, if he is not working at the computer -- which is where you will find him most of the time.

Robby Douglas has a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Auburn University at Montgomery, and has served on the staff of several daily and weekly newspapers, in positions ranging from reporter to editor. In radio, he has held positions from disc jockey to station manager. In television, he has worked from reporter to anchor. He has also been a webmaster, written programming code and helped develop web sites. Today, Robby spends much of his time writing articles, running his own web sites and scripting RSS code.

Mission

Together, both Robby and Bryan are dedicated to providing the community with a one-stop source for reading about what's happening in Citrus County.
