Public Meeting: Progress Energy Transmission Lines

Progress Energy Florida has scheduled a public meeting to discuss the path transmission lines will take through Citrus County.

Meeting time and place: From 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the National Guard Armory, 8551 W. Venable St., Crystal River.

There will be a second public meeting from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at West Citrus Elks Lodge, 7890 W. Grover Cleveland Blvd., Homosassa.
