HarrisA Floral City man is facing $11,000 in bond after a Dec. 27 incident at Trails End campground.

Arrested was Henry Stephen Harris, 44, of 7729 S. Four Oaks Point, Floral City.

Two men in bad moods were arrested on Christmas Eve and placed in the Citrus County Jail.

Kevin Mark Shields of Floral City and Joshua D. Copning of Beverly Hills were arrested in separate incidents.

Shields, 38, of 6835 S. Dove Drive in Floral City, was arrested after reportedly being uncooperative with deputies who were responding to a call of a burglary.

An 8-week old puppy that was saved by a Good Samaritan last week in Floral City is in need of help. The puppy was hit on U.S. 41, and a passing motorist picked it up and called Citrus County Animal Services.

A 911 call from a distraught grandfather at about 10 a.m. this morning led Citrus County deputies to a gruesome scene.

Citrus County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in recovering a 16-year-old Floral City teen who ran away from home more than a week ago.

A Floral City man's call to report child abuse had the tables turned on him Wednesday, when he ended up in the county jail.

Arrested was Christopher Michael Seaman, 33, of 8205 E. Gobbler Court.

A Brooksville prostitution sting operation labeled "Operation Working Woman" has resulted in the arrest of six Citrus County men.

The six were among 32 men arrested from Sept. 10 to Sept. 15 by the Brooksville Police Department, which Tuesday released the names of the men arrested in the sting.
